We will meet at the Oregon City Senior Center @ 11:45 am then car pool to the parking lot adjacent to the Rail Center.
Our tickets to board the train are for 1:00 pm for a 45 min train ride. We will need to be there by 12:30pm.
We will tour the museum after the train ride between 1:45-2:45pm.

What to Expect:
• Location: Trains depart from the Oregon Rail Heritage Center at 2250 SE Water Ave., Portland, OR 97214.
• Boarding: Please arrive 20-30 minutes before your departure time. Boarding starts 20 minutes prior, and check-in is required at least 10 minutes before departure.
• Experience: Enjoy a scenic ride aboard a historic train to Oaks Bottom & back, with friendly staff ready to share fascinating details about its history.
• Amenities: Restrooms are available at the Heritage Center before boarding. Refreshments are available for purchase on the train.

• Public Transit: The Center is easily accessible via the MAX Light Rail. Check local schedules for the best route.
What to Bring:
• Comfortable Clothing: Dress appropriately for the weather. Open-air excursions can vary in temperature.
• Sunscreen/Hat: If its sunny, sun protection is recommended.
• Ear Protection: The train horn sounds loudly at each crossing, as required by Federal regulations. Earplugs or headphones are advised for those sensitive to loud noises.
• Camera: Don’t forget to capture the memories of your historic train ride!
